    The developing embryo's, fetus's and the neonate's need for a Birth Contract for their protection of their placenta blood, is best demonstrated why, in a professional diagram of the placenta, below.   There are case-laws of damaged babies by mothers who accepted "active management" for healthy babies, and the children were damaged.  Many millions of babies are compromised but, but so far, have not had Court Awards because their internal injuries were more subtle. These normal looking children had behavior and learning disadvantages.  ( You may want to go directly to the diagram ).

NURSES REPORT REVEALS 60 PERCENT TOTAL BLOOD VOLUME DEPRIVED BABIES BY ICC:

    The degree of internal injury of low blood volume and pressure was known by nurses (quotation below) to be up to 60 percent total blood volume.  The  Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC) who directed early umbilical cord clamping (about 30-seconds clamping) #Policy #71, December 1998 and Policy #89, May 2000 (for immediate cord clamping) knew this trend deprived the child from 20 to 50 percent total blood volume.  

    SOCC knew the recovery of the deprived blood for the child to recreate that blood volume was from between 6 weeks and 6 months. It takes one week for a red cell to mature and twelve days for a white cell.    Also children who had too many dying red cells had jaundice.  This is logically caused by too little volume of blood there to reuse the iron that is retained in the body when cells die too quickly. This jaundice condition is known to take two weeks before the child had recreated the low blood volume for the jaundiced condition. Then anemia is a condition many babies will have the rest of their life after early cord clamping.  (See Anemia AAP).  To quote the nurse's studies are as follows:

In a Manual of Nursing Practice  , 3rd Edition, The publisher, J. B. Lippincott, Company, Philadelphia & Toronto.1978-1982, stated empirical facts of science, observable if the placenta is drained after immediate cord clamping, that in the circulation changes of the fetus circulation to adult, "  Placental transfusion at birth --increase in blood volume of 60% if cord is clamped and cut "after" pulsation ceases."

    The placenta during and after birth is providing blood for transfusion into the infant's lungs that are expanding after birth.  The child, after birth, will actually be on a dual circulation system until the placenta is empty.  Then, the placenta is a flat cake, very small, and easy to be expelled and without bursting.  A mother is wise, for her own protection, too, to contract for this delayed method of care of the baby's placenta, cord, as this is physiologically best for her and the child. This design of nature was not to harm either the mother or the child. Interventions of the natural are mostly harmful, these being drugs during labor and early umbilical cord clamping.  (See Brain Lesions, The Magical Child).

    Only if the harmful drugs, such as oxytocin, are not imposed and injected on the mothers will the mother not be harmed, or the child, during birth.  Oxytocin is an abortion drug.  It has a variety of names.  (See oxytocin)  This drug works on the muscles for contractions.  It is most harmful and has serious consequences to the mother and the child. Oxytocin, however, is questionably being promoted to stop bleeding and is being carried as a required substance to be taken to al home births by the Midwives in Ontario.  If they carry the drug, they intend to use it.  The nature of oxytocin, when injected by man...actually increases the risk of more bleeding from harsher muscle contractions.  Oxytocin is warned to cause brain impairments to the child by the World Health Organization (WHO). They gave no medical reference to that statement but the medical manufacturer of a clamping tool, Dupont, followed up and created a tool that clamps and cuts and comes with a shield to protect the amputator from being splattered with the child's cord blood, as it is clamped on a firm, red, pulsating cord.  What hormone stops bleeding?  The true hormones within the body to stop bleeding are the platelets and their release of the serotonin hormone that seals the broken blood vessels. We need to hear more from the drug companies on the promotion of their synthetic drug to stop bleeding as an excuse that their drug, oxytocin, is a required substance to be given to all birthing women, or commonly routine.

    Until that time of the child's birth, and some time after the birth, the placenta through the pulsation cord (the child heart beat is felt in the cord) is doing the gas exchange work. The placenta at this time looks more like a blood bag. And as such, a thought as a blood bag, should not be prevented in transfusing the blood into the child's expanding lungs during or after birth.  The baby, if compromised  at birth by the drugs causing it to be suffocated at birth, can and must be revived on the placenta cord, never detached, in revival, or for a twin's birth. When the heart is restarted, it is logical the baby's continued transfusion will be restarted, too.  It is not logical for revival teams to be directing the doctor to take the baby off the natural hope of oxygenated blood for their intentions to supply the need, but by artificially needs ; another's blood and the safety of skill used in giving 100 percent oxygen.     When in doubt, go natural.  Interventions have very serious consequences to mother and child.  If you follow natural, in normal births, which are even multiple births (the home birth of the Dionne quintuplets, born near Callander, Ont., Canada, in 1934).  One cannot stray too far from nature's purpose and design.  In cases of multiple births, each baby will determine its own needs from their support in the total supply of blood they all created, equally.  Let no man or women play God in determining who gets how much when the babies themselves determine that.  

     Offered is a Birth Contract for the reader's consideration.  It is included after the diagram on the placenta.  Birth Contracts, not a birth plan, or simple discussion with the medical person(s) is a necessity because today's society has a trend that many medical persons are in willful participation in harvesting the neonate's (newborn's ) blood.  Participating are the nurses. Birth Contracts are necessary to protect the baby's legal rights not to be harvested at birth, including the ambulance medic, the doula, and the surgeon, or any person that may know the value of selling the child's placenta and may attempt to do that, including parents.  ___________________________________________________

    The birth contract below, is in draft form and is to be individualized.  It serves only as a suggestion and as a guide of possibly what cannot be done to the mother's person or to her body, to give birth to a child.  Yes, this means she legally can prevent herself from being cut (episiotomy or a c-section).  The mother is the master of her own body.

A SUGGESTED BIRTH CONTRACT

BIRTH CONTRACT (Individualized) Keep to one page if possible.  The contract to be binding should be witnessed.  The primary care giver must sign the contract, that can be the head nurse and the doctor on the ward, or the family doctor, or all involved, or all involved in the birth given a copy.  

    a) Teas suggested in child birth are Red Raspberry tea, taken very strong, and taken when labor contractions are steady.

    b) Shepherd's purse is for after the birth of the baby, alleged to reduce bleeding. No inductions are advised because most babies know when to come and when they are properly turned. Inductions often cause cutting of the women's body or c-sections. Normal gestations have been up to the 10 month.

4) The mother will not have any drugs during labor. These include man-made hormones called oxytocins.

    a) All drugs cross the placenta and can cause allergic reactions to the mother or the child.

    b) There is no safe amount in any drug no matter the skill or knowledge  of the person(s) giving the drug.

5) The mother will have nothing applied to her cervix, creams, or gels. These applications can absorb into her blood stream, and thus the child's.  

    a) Natural birth does not need to soften the cervix. This is done naturally by natural hormones within her own body, such as relaxin.

6) The mother will have no drug stimulates during the birth of her child and this is including the man-made hormone oxytocins. This drug increases the chance of bleeding as to causing heavy contractions on the uterus. Oxytocin does not stop bleeding from torn blood vessels. Platelets and serotonin  are hormones that seal up broken blood vessels. "serotonin a substance in the blood that causes blood vessels to construct and aids in the blood clotting; hydroxytriptamine.  It is an indole, chemically related to adrenalin and hallucinogenic drugs (LSD) that also occurs in the brain and in smooth muscles of the intestines and functions in brain chemistry.  Formula: C10 H12 N2 0. (Reference World Book Dictionary,Vol L-Z p. 1903).

    a) The baby's umbilical cord will have No Clamping for any reasons, except if the child's cord tore or for a c-section if consented to, for placenta previa.

    b) The baby must remain unclamped and uncut from the lifeline, the umbilical cord. No hand -squeezing or invasive touching of the cord may be done.

    c)  For any cosmetic removal of the umbilical cord, only the parents can do this. If this is done the parents will do this themselves, and may choose to purchase a provided clamping and cutting tool made by Dupont. Or, by boiling scissors and string and by using iodine, if they wish they will be the ones to cosmetically remove the cord and placenta by these means that were used by early Pioneers.

    b) The mother can birth forward sitting, forward side-ways position, or any gravity position, she chooses.

3) The mother will birth in the warmest room possible, and can birth her baby in a warm water tub.

    a) This is in addition to any oxygen the child may be receiving if now breathing on his/her own.

    b) This placenta oxygenated blood through the cord's vein will be so as long as the mother was not given oxytocin that causes premature pulling away of the placenta and depriving the child of oxygenated blood to his/her expanding lungs.

    c) Therefore, this oxytocin will not be allowed or anything of the nature of a muscle contracting drug, injected or by pill or powder form.

    d) Such drugs are abortion drugs intended to terminate the pregnancy by strong muscle contraction, which synthetic oxytocin does with extreme contractions and harmful to the mother and the child.. They are not natural muscle contractions.

8) The placenta, when born, will be placed, too, in a warm towel, and kept with the baby and not tied, clamped, or hand squeeze, nor a needle inserted in the umbilical vein.

    a)  There is no medical need to cosmetically remove the placenta and cord. It will fall off without cord infection in a day or two. (See Dr. Sarah Buckley's Declaration.

    b)  The mother may remove the placenta cord hours or days, later, or allow it to fall off naturally.

    c)  This is a natural pioneer birth method now given the name of Lotus Birth. (Called after Clare Lotus Day who thought going back to natural was best care of all for babies).

1) The mother only can change any of the above tenets and must be given all factual information and all risks involved for any suggested care and services.

    a)  The mother, at all times has the right to refuse any cutting of her body to birth her child, knowing the risks of her own life or the child's.

2)  This would be by the failure of the medical person not to have discussed any reason he/she would change or suggest a change to the above contract' tenets, and such known surprises to cause early clamping, for an example, were fears of the mother bleeding.

        e)  Early clamping of the umbilical cord, is a form of blood-letting without the substantiated evidence it needed to be done.

        f) There would be need to impose blood-letting on a newborn child.  The child is not properly evaluated at birth and early cord clamping  would not be known to be correct medical procedure at the quick judgement to have done that to a child.  

Natural Birth Education and Practice maintains normal Homeostasis whereas Active Management upsets this natural balance. For example the pH balance is disturbed by chemicals in the blood.  The homeostasis means that the "internal environment remains within normal limits or values, regardless of the conditions in the external environment.  In humans, for example:

    1.  The blood glucose concentration remains at about 100 mg / 100 ml.  Change this and one may be diabetic.

    2.  The pH of blood is always near 7.4.

    3.  Blood pressure in the brachial artery averages near 120 / 80 mm Hg.

    4.  Body temperatures average around 37 C (98.6 F).

    This internal environment consists of tissue fluid, which bathes all the cells of the body.  Tissue fluid is refreshed when molecules such as oxygen and nutrients exit blood and wastes enter blood.  Tissue fluid remains constant only as long as blood composition remains constant.  It is important to realize that it is the "internal environment" of tissues that is ultimately responsible for our health and well-being.  

    Why risk changing the pH of your baby's system during birth by taking the drugs.  The pH scale is used to indicate the acidity (sugar) and basicity (alkalinity) of a solution.  Distilled water has has neutral pH.  There means there is a n equal number of hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions.  If you take in some sugary substance (acidity) the pH scale may indicate the pH moves towards 6.8 pH, lower than 7, like lemons or vinegar, or coca- cola.  If you take something more salty, potato chips the scale can move to 7.5 towards the alkalinity.  The human body when healthy has a buffer that resists pH changes because the buffers are chemicals or combinations of chemicals that can take up excess hydrogens (H+) or hydroxide ions (OH-).  The main buffer in blood is a combination of carbonic acid and bicarbonate ions which are a dissociation product of carbon acid.  Carbonic acid (H2CO3) is a weak acid that minimally dissociates and then reforms.  When the buffers can combine with "both" hydrogen ions (H+) acids sugar and hydroxide ions (0H-) salty, our body resists any pH changes.

    One cannot know how the mother obtaining drugs during labor will change her tiny babies pH.  The drugs are  morphines (that delay the labor) and synthetic oxytocins that speed labor up.  There are unknown preservatives (mercury, lead, aluminum, chlorobutanol) and these all are known to cross the placenta and can endanger baby, so small, that there capacity to adjust to the drug invasion of al their cells are being endangered.

Consider pH balance if you are to receive drugs during labor and during the birth of the child, by any application, gels, creams, injections, spinals, pills, they will change the blood chemistry:

The chemoreceptors respond to chemical substances in the immediate vicinity.  These chemoreceptors are in varius organs that are sensitive to internal condition.  Chemoreceptors in certain blood vessels monitor the hydrogen ion concentration (H+) in the blood, and if the pH lowers, the breathing rate increases.  As more carbon dioxide is expired, the blood pH will rise. (P. 348, Inquiry Into Life)

• The facts of how long the medical persons have known that touching the umbilical cord injures the baby, to blood deprivation, was written by Dr. Erasmus Darwin, in Vol III, Page 302, Zoonomia, London, 1801.  More information can be found at these websites:

navel string too soon; which should always be left till the child has not

only repeatedly breathed but till all pulsation in the cord ceases. As

otherwise the child is much weaker than it ought to be, a portion of the

  • The vulnerable, naive and trusting female, and the helpless child, were totally dependent on high ethics and duty for his/her care and development.

HOW ONE CHRISTIAN FAITH DEALS WITH THE PLACENTA DISPOSAL:

A CHRISTIAN'S FAITH AND THE CHILD BIRTH PROCESS:

    The parent's faith and trust may have been violated as to breach of trust by the family genetic codes being in the hands of labs and not with informed consent. And, to some, if the blood was used in human medical transfusions or drugs, it was a violation to one's faith, if they were of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith and took the faith tenets seriously.  They would have to agree the blood was burned that had been deprived their baby by early clamping.  

    Most JW's did not know what the hospital policies were on this issue, and did not know to contract of no clamping off their baby's placenta cord, like most other persons, of any faith, or of no faith.

    If the JW's did not read the article published in 1997, that believed that discarding and disposal of human tissue was by likely burning.  There may have been oversights on the placenta organ on its cosmetic removal done at the hospital. The facts are it can be removed simply in the parents own home, not at the hospital.  When the placentas are removed at the hospital, or even if not removed, the blood is still being syringed out by needle from the placenta.  The hospitals do want the placenta blood the purpose of early cord clamping.

     Now, apparently, the hospitals sold the placentas "after being drained" to cosmetic and research drug companies ; and the blood drained of the placenta and put into blood banks. (See references. www.lotusbirth.com/doc/FEB2003Lotusbirth-110.htm )

    Questions from Readers" February 1, 1997 issue of The Watchtower magazine.  

    "According to news reports, after a baby is delivered, some hospitals save the placenta and umbilical cord to extract things from their blood.  Should this concern a Christian?"  

    Answer...."the products are disposed of in accordance with local law."  

    The Doubting Thomas:  

        You cannot find who upholds the local law on the disposal of human organs.  The hospitals do not burn the organs themselves anymore, and research labs and drug companies purchase organs and the blood is practically used from the placentas.  

        As to this doubt, the watch tower writers anticipated, thus, stated:

     "If a patient had valid reason to doubt that such a normal practice was going to be followed, he or she could mention it to the physician involved, stating that for religious reasons he or she wanted all such products disposed of."  

    And still, The Doubting Thomas:  

    The medical society laughs at these words, "disposed of."  This is because discarding and disposal may mean practical use, not necessarily "burning."  Therefore, what you do not know will not hurt you.  However, to keep the faith, clarification needs to be specific in instructions. If the doubting Thomas needs assurance, they may need an eye witness account what actually is done to organs, like the placenta, filled with blood by early clamping.  Most mothers do not care what happens to their baby's placenta, or if the cord was early clamped, they just want a living baby and glad they survived the "active management" birth process.     A doubting Thomas might want to find out in his/her own community:

     Who picks the placenta and other organs up?  

    Where do they go for discarding, how and where?

    If the hospital staff answers are likely evasive...then birth at home.  When you ask the Maternity Ward's head nurse what is going on with the placenta, she becomes very nervous and says they are discarded. That is the end of the conversation as far as she or the head surgeon or Chief of Staff is concerned. Things are to remain a secret in most hospitals. The Administration staff alleged they do not know either. It is more likely to get results if you as for the billing and expense department of disposing of organs, as to private contractors in the area, and what the destination of delivery is, labs, university research, stem cell research, or disposal by burning, and where?

    You are most wise, today, birth at home.  Then the placenta can be buried near your favorite shrub, or can be burned. Or, follow the birth plan, do not allow detaching of the placenta in the hospital, and no putting in needles in the vein or the placenta, so baby does not leave the parents sight, ever, without a family care witness with the child, at all times.

    Babies can be operated on with the placenta still attached. See Miracle Baby. The cord and placenta will fall off naturally, in a day or two's time.  Have faith that this natural process allows no cord infections and the baby is assured he/she gets full blood volume and pressure as was the design of the creator. The baby's blood is then not taken to be sold and used in stem cell transplants.

(Reference from Protect Babies http://www.123-baby-birth.com)   Search at Google this web site for the " No Policies "  It is believed had a duty to have a policy of equal protection which should uphold best practice possible least risk of harm.  This upholds a legal duty of the Criminal Codes and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms for the enforcement for even a baby's security of person, regardless of:  age, mental or physical disadvantages ; race, color, social or marital status of the pregnant lady ; or belief or faith of the family, or genetic type of blood sought for by medical researchers, for stem cell matching, and use of white cells, mature red cells, platelets, enzymes, hormones, and plasma.

NOTE:  for any hospital to have taken the blood as salvage blood, as though owned by the Province was a violation of informed consent, as the parents are the legal guardians to protect genetic information of their family, and the child.  No genetic testing can be imposed by taking samples of the child's blood.  No pricking of the heel for such a PKU test or pH can be done.  These tests can be done only with informed consent, not imposed by medical policy.  If done these tests can be done safely by urine samples. Urine tests are a little more inconvenient but safer to the child. They offer least risk of a virus accidently inserted into the child's blood stream. Cautions is best and safer then risking the child to inserted viruses, that can be late or slow in developing by any breaking of the child's skin.  That is common sense to do the least risk taking on another's child.
