Drugs in Maternity Labor. What harm to they cause our babies?
Drugs in labor and other medical interventions, like early umbilical cord clamping, are they necessary? By Donna Young
In 1998, and long before this time period, and around the world, many individuals, unconnected to each other, like Beverley Lawrence Beech, Dr. George M. Morley, Dr. Sarah Buckley, and even some mothers without degrees, were inquiring about trends, habits, customs, beliefs, traditions, outside of natural child birth, that were linked commonly to compromised and impaired children. While babies survive what I regard as assault and battery during and after birth, those that survived, had imposed on them, unnecessary, birth interventions, in most instances. How inquiries, were by Dr. George M. Morley, on the issues of hasty umbilical cord clamping, knowingly
that deprives the infant
from 20 to up to 60 percent total blood volume deprivation. His articles can be found at:

At about the same time, a medical journalist, Cory Mermer was also writing on the harms believed associated
with early umbilical

I as a mother and grandmother, began my research by writing the British Columbia, Canada, College of
Physicians and
Surgeons. They had assured me by 1999 that all doctors did full delayed clamping of the cord,
that is waiting for all pulsation to
cease, naturally, before clamping and cosmetically removal of the cord and the placenta. They
misinformed me, for in Policy #71,
December 1998, the Society of Obstetrician and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC), had been following Policy
#216, November
1995, of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), who directed immediate cord
clamping on "all"
babies. By May 2000, in Policy #89, SOGC then directed from early cord clamping, about 30-second clamping, immediate
clamping to be routinely done on most Canadian babies.
At all Children's Hospitals and Child developments, and on all hospital records, no one doctor or nurse
had recorded the timing of
the clamping of the cord, the position of the child's body when born, when the cord was clamped, and
the condition of the cord
when clamped, such as: firm, red, and pulsating. Nor, did they write on the child's own
medical chart, how much blood was
drained from the placenta, and how it was discarded, by burning or by use in transplants, research,
stem cells research, or
whatever. Parents were none-the-wiser. This is because most biology books were directing,
too, early umbilical cord clamping
on "human" babies. the biology teachers were separating human babies for this ordeal,
but not so other mammal's young spring,
born in the present of a human being.

I discovered many professional persons were simply not properly educated on the fetus to neonate circulation

falsely used, alleging this
drug/hormone, synthetically made, stopped bleeding. This drug, oxytocin has questionable ingredients
in it, like chlorobutanol.
The oxytocin is used as the baby was being born....and then followed with hasty clamping. the natural
drugs/hormones in the
woman's body that seals torn and damaged blood vessels, after the placenta is expelled are platelets
working with serotonin.
Nurses inadequately trained on fetal to neonate circulation system:
I found it hard to believe that a nurse would be asked to go into the maternity room, and not know right from wrong.....The registered nurse, and now the practical nurse, could not judge that the medical person(s) were endangering the baby by doing hasty clamping, nor would not know where, for a fact, the placenta, full of blood went. And, if drained. If drained, then who used the blood? And, why they did so without informed consent? Were the placentas sold? And, if sold, were they sold with parental consent? If not, why did the Hospital Administration involve themselves in this breach of trust. Some people have a faith and belief, not to use blood or sell blood components or organs that blood would be derived and used in research or use in components of blood used by human beings.
I hope you raise lots of questions where you are living. Under access to information under general policies
the local hospital, is
obligated to inform. You need more then secrets of practice is only between doctor and patient. What are they allowing on "their"
premises without a informed consent form of alternative choices, no harm done no clamping or removal
of the cord, for any baby,
full term, or premature, or vaginal birth or a c-section baby. Ask lots of questions where your
doctor was trained, and what
excuses he or she has used to clamp off a pulsating cord. It is the clamp that does the damage.
There are only two reasons which are a medical fact of observable need, for clamping a pulsating cord. The cord tore or for
placenta previa. All other reasons ought to be required to be justified before a court of law...why
the mother endangered as well
her baby. The mother was risked to blood mixing, by early clamping and bursting of the placenta,
or it leaking.......by a backward
pressure of blood. It is harmful to mix two separate blood types, or the -negative Rh factor with
a positive factor.
The damage to the baby is that the baby is deprived of oxygenated blood volume and risk to a gush of
blood rushed forward into
its veins and heart, risking damaging to the heart valves. And, the baby further risked to a jaundiced
condition (iron over load by
two many red cells damaged and killed, loss of oxygenated blood volume and drugs that killed cells premature,
too.
And the child is then in an anemic condition of the baby deprived of 4 to 6 ounces of a possible
10 total blood volume, if the baby
was a 9-pound baby. That is 20 to over 60 percent of total blood volume.
The baby was deprived of enzymes and hormones, vitamins, minerals, all in the blood; and white cells,
red cells, stem cells,
platelets, plasma. Is it any wonder our babies are violent today? Is it any wonder the proper
hormones for development of
emotions to work with the external plumbing of babies are mixed up? Perhaps, that is the rising
reasons of those that prefer their
own sex, to the opposite of sex? These babies are victims of a crime. They are born with
disregard and violence imposed on
them. We must take this injustice before a Judge. I hope you agree and will do whatever
you can in your own area, as quickly as
possible.
