Dear Donna,
"Sarah Elizabeth born 08/28/95- 7 pounds 6 ounces 19 and 3/4 inches long, at home with guidance of a Midwife, delayed cord clamping, it took about 15 minutes for her cord to stop pulsing. Labor and birth very normal, prolonged though, 52 hours in total length and 2 hours of pushing, slight dystocia of the shoulder. I was 41 weeks + 2 days.
Emmalee Pauline born 08/15/00 -9 pounds 14 ounces 22 and 3/4 inches long at home with guidance of Midwife,
delayed cord
clamping, between 15-20 minutes for cord to stop pulsing and be cut. Labor and birth very normal,
with shoulder dystocia.
Midwife intervened and broke Emmas clavical. Labor and birth were about 7 or so hours long, plus four
weeks of prelabor
symptoms. I was 40 weeks and 2 days.
I swear this to be true. I hope it helps you with your court case.

Signed letter addressed to Donna Young, as evidence witnessed by a birth midwife as to the facts of
how long a pulsating cord
will continue if not interfered with. I make the suggestion that the cords on these babies, may
have been compressed, resulting in
the child taking longer to have blood transfusion, after birth, to obtain all that they needed per each
size and need.
